In a telehealth therapy session, you can expect a private, one-on-one conversation with your therapist via video or phone. The key difference is the virtual setting, so ensure you have a quiet, comfortable space and a reliable internet connection.

I use SimplePractice to conduct sessions. After having a consult call to assess for fit, you will receive an email from SimplePractice walking you through the next steps to create your client portal and fill out intake forms.

24-hours and 20-minutes before each session SimplePractice will send an appointment reminder with a link to join the session from your computer.

If you decide to join from your phone, you will need to download the SimplePractice app.

At this time, I do not offer reduced rates for therapy sessions. If you are looking for a reduced rate, I am happy to refer you to clinicians in my network who may have openings with sliding scale rates ranging from $60-$100 per session.

SimplePractice will automatically charge the card on file between 11 pm and 1 am the night of the session.

My time is reserved on an appointment basis. In order for effective scheduling to be accomplished, cancellation or change of appointments is discouraged.

In the event that cancellation is necessary due to essential and unplanned events, we ask that 48 hours notice be given. For appointments canceled within 48 hours of your scheduled session time, the full appointment fee will be charged. Reminder texts or emails are a courtesy; it is the client’s responsibility to keep scheduled appointments regardless of reminders.

I typically hold openings on Fridays for clients to reschedule due to emergencies or other last minute cancellations to avoid the late cancellation charge. These times can fill up quickly and are not always available due to higher demand. That said, please don't hesitate to ask if you need to take advantage of this benefit.
